What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for frozen fruits and vegetables?

Our standard MOQ is 1×20′ reefer container (approximately 18 to 22 tons depending on the product). For freeze-dried products, the MOQ starts at 500 kg per SKU. We can discuss smaller trial orders for first-time buyers. contact us with your specific requirements.

How do I place an order with Vietfrost?

Send us your inquiry via our contact form or email with the product name, specification, target quantity, and destination port. We will reply within 24 hours with a quotation including FOB price, lead time, and packing options. Once you confirm, we issue a proforma invoice (PI) for your review before production begins.

Can I order mixed containers with different products?

Yes, we support mixed containers. You can combine frozen fruits, frozen vegetables, and other products in one 20′ or 40′ reefer container. Each product must meet its individual minimum quantity (usually 1 to 2 pallets per SKU). Our logistics team will optimize the loading plan for you.

What is the typical lead time from order to shipment?

For standard products in stock, lead time is 2 to 3 weeks after payment confirmation. For private label orders or custom specifications, allow 3 to 4 weeks for the first order and 2 to 3 weeks for repeat orders. Peak season (June to September for tropical fruits) may require earlier booking.

Do you provide product samples before ordering?

Yes. We provide free samples for most products. you only cover the courier fee (DHL/FedEx). Sample delivery typically takes 5 to 7 business days. For freeze-dried and specialty items, sample quantities are 200 to 500g per SKU. Request samples through our contact page.

Shipping & Logistics

What shipping terms does Vietfrost offer?

We primarily offer FOB (Free On Board) from Ho Chi Minh City Port (Cat Lai) or Hai Phong Port. We can also arrange CIF or CFR to your destination port upon request. All frozen shipments use 20′ or 40′ reefer containers set at -18°C or below.

Which ports do you ship from in Vietnam?

We ship from two main ports: Cat Lai Port (Ho Chi Minh City) for southern Vietnam factories, and Hai Phong Port for northern Vietnam. Cat Lai is our primary port with the most frequent sailing schedules to all major destinations worldwide.

How do you ensure cold chain integrity during shipping?

We maintain an unbroken cold chain from factory to port. Products are stored at -18°C or below in our certified cold storage facilities. Reefer containers are pre-cooled before loading, and temperature is monitored throughout transit. We provide temperature logs and container inspection photos upon request.

What documents do you provide with each shipment?

Every shipment includes: Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin (CO/Form E/Form AK depending on destination), Health Certificate, Phytosanitary Certificate, and Certificate of Analysis (COA). Additional documents such as FDA registration, Halal certificate, or Kosher certificate are available upon request.

Can you ship to any country?

As a frozen food supplier, we export to over 30 countries across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, North America, and Australia. Product Quality & Certifications

What food safety certifications does Vietfrost hold?

Our processing facilities are certified ISO 22000:2018 and HACCP. We follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) throughout production. Additional certifications including BRC, FSSC 22000, Organic (USDA/EU), Halal, and Kosher can be arranged based on customer requirements and product lines.

How do you ensure product quality and consistency?

We implement a multi-stage quality control process: incoming raw material inspection (Brix, moisture, color, defect sorting), in-process monitoring (temperature, weight, metal detection), and pre-shipment inspection (microbiological testing, residue analysis). Every batch comes with a Certificate of Analysis (COA) from an accredited lab.

What is IQF and why does it matter for frozen products?

IQF stands for Individually Quick Frozen. Unlike block freezing, IQF freezes each piece separately at -35°C to -40°C within minutes. This preserves the natural shape, color, texture, and nutrition of each piece. IQF products are free-flowing (not clumped together), making them easier to portion and use in food processing, retail packing, or foodservice.

Do you test for pesticide residues and heavy metals?

Yes. All products undergo pesticide residue testing (over 500 compounds) and heavy metal analysis (lead, cadmium, mercury, arsenic) at accredited third-party laboratories. Test results comply with EU MRLs, FDA standards, and Japanese Positive List requirements. COA reports are provided with every shipment.

What is the shelf life of your frozen and freeze-dried products?

Private Label & OEM

Does Vietfrost offer private label and OEM services?

Yes. We provide full private label and OEM services including custom packaging design, sticker labels, printed cartons, and retail bags. We can produce under your brand name with your artwork and specifications.

What are the MOQs for private label orders?

MOQs depend on the packaging type: Sticker Label. 1×20′ reefer container, Custom Printed Carton. 1×20′ reefer container (recommended for best branding impact), Retail Bags. minimum 5,000 pieces. We can discuss flexible arrangements for first-time private label customers.

How long does it take to set up a private label order?

First private label order: 3 to 4 weeks from artwork approval to shipment. This includes packaging production, printing, product processing, and quality checks. Repeat orders: 2 to 3 weeks. We recommend submitting your artwork in AI or PDF format with at least 300 DPI resolution.

Can you develop custom product specifications?

Yes. We can customize cut size, Brix level, moisture content, packaging weight, and blend ratios according to your requirements. Our R&D team will produce samples matching your specifications for approval before full production. Custom development typically takes 2 to 3 weeks for sample preparation.

Payment & Pricing

What payment terms does Vietfrost accept?

We accept T/T (Telegraphic Transfer), L/C at sight (Letter of Credit). For new customers, standard terms are 30% deposit with 70% balance before shipment. For established relationships, we offer more flexible terms. All payments are in USD. As a trusted frozen food supplier, we offer flexible payment arrangements for long-term partners.

How is your pricing structured?

All prices are quoted FOB Ho Chi Minh City or Hai Phong Port in USD per kilogram or per metric ton, depending on the product. Pricing depends on product type, specification, packaging, order volume, and season. We provide competitive pricing with detailed price breakdowns upon request. CIF/CFR pricing is also available.

Do prices change with seasons?

Yes, pricing for some products fluctuates with harvest seasons. Tropical fruits like mango, passion fruit, and dragon fruit are most competitive during peak harvest (May to September). We recommend placing orders 4 to 6 weeks before your target delivery date, especially during peak season, to secure the best pricing and availability.

Certifications & Compliance

Is Vietfrost FDA registered for export to the USA?

Yes. Our facility is registered with the US FDA. We comply with the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) requirements, including the Foreign Supplier Verification Program (FSVP). Our FDA registration is renewed annually and we can provide the registration number upon request.

Can you provide Halal or Kosher certified products?

Yes. We can supply Halal and Kosher certified products for specific product lines. Certification is arranged through recognized international certification bodies. Please specify your Halal/Kosher requirements when sending your inquiry so we can confirm availability and provide the relevant certificates.

Do your products comply with EU food safety regulations?

Frozen Fruits

What frozen fruit varieties does Vietfrost offer?

We supply a wide range of IQF frozen fruits from Vietnam including mango (chunks, dices, puree), passion fruit (pulp with and without seeds), dragon fruit (red and white), pineapple (chunks, tidbits, rings), banana, soursop, jackfruit, coconut, lychee, and rambutan. All fruits are sourced from GAP-certified farms and processed within hours of harvest.

How are your frozen fruits processed?

Our process: raw material selection and grading → washing and sanitizing → peeling and cutting → blanching (where applicable) → IQF freezing at -35°C to -40°C → metal detection → quality inspection → packing → cold storage at -18°C. The entire process from fresh fruit to frozen product is completed within 6 to 8 hours.

What cut sizes are available for frozen fruits?

Standard cut sizes include: dices (10×10mm, 15×15mm, 20×20mm), chunks (25×25mm, 30×30mm), slices (5mm, 8mm, 10mm thickness), halves, and whole pieces. Custom cut sizes are available for orders of 1×20′ reefer container or more. We can also supply puree and pulp formats.

What packaging options are available for frozen fruits?

Standard packaging: 10 kg/PE bag in master carton (bulk). Also available: 500g, 1 kg retail bags (with or without your branding), and 25 kg bulk bags for industrial use. PE bags are food-grade, sealed for freshness. Custom packaging and labeling are available for private label orders.

Frozen Vegetables

What frozen vegetables does Vietfrost export?

Our frozen vegetable range includes: edamame (in pod and shelled), baby corn (whole and cut), okra (whole and sliced), sweet potato (diced and french fry cut), taro, mixed vegetables, sweet corn kernels, green beans, and various tropical vegetables. All vegetables are IQF processed for free-flowing convenience.

Are your frozen vegetables suitable for foodservice and retail?

Yes. We supply both foodservice and retail channels. Foodservice packs are typically 1 kg and 10 kg bulk bags. Retail packs include 300g, 500g, and 1 kg bags with attractive design. We can customize pack sizes and branding for your market.

How do you handle pesticide control for vegetables?

We source from farms following VietGAP and GlobalGAP practices with controlled pesticide use. Every batch undergoes multi-residue pesticide testing (500+ compounds) at accredited labs. Results comply with EU MRLs, Japanese Positive List, and US EPA standards. We can supply organic certified vegetables upon request.

Freeze-Dried Products

What is the difference between frozen and freeze-dried fruits?

Frozen fruits are stored at -18°C and maintain their original texture when thawed. Freeze-dried fruits have 95 to 98% moisture removed through sublimation, resulting in a lightweight, crunchy texture with concentrated flavor. Freeze-dried products have longer shelf life (18 to 24 months at room temperature), lower shipping costs (90% weight reduction), and are ideal for snacking, cereal toppings, smoothie mixes, and confectionery.

What freeze-dried fruits does Vietfrost offer?

We offer freeze-dried mango, dragon fruit (red and white), passion fruit, pineapple, banana, jackfruit, coconut, durian, and mixed fruit blends. Available in whole pieces, slices, dices, chips, and powder form. MOQ starts at 500 kg per SKU. Custom blends are available for orders above 1 ton.

What is the shelf life and storage requirement for freeze-dried products?

Freeze-dried products have a shelf life of 18 to 24 months when stored in a cool, dry environment (below 25°C, humidity under 65%). Products are packed in moisture-barrier bags with nitrogen flushing and desiccant. Unlike frozen products, freeze-dried items do not require cold chain. this significantly reduces shipping and storage costs.

NFC Juices

What are NFC juices and what varieties do you offer?

NFC stands for Not From Concentrate. our juices are pressed directly from fresh fruit without reconstitution. We offer NFC mango juice, passion fruit juice, pineapple juice, guava juice, and tropical fruit blends. Available in aseptic bags (5 kg, 10 kg, 200 kg drums) for further processing.

What is the difference between NFC juice and juice concentrate?

NFC juice is single-strength juice pressed directly from fresh fruit, retaining the natural flavor, aroma, and nutritional profile. Juice concentrate has water removed (typically 4 to 6x concentration) for cheaper shipping, then reconstituted at destination. NFC commands a premium price but delivers superior taste and is increasingly preferred by health-conscious consumers and premium brands.

Spices & Herbs

What spices and herbs does Vietfrost supply?

We supply Vietnamese spices and herbs including: black pepper (whole and ground), white pepper, cinnamon (Cassia), star anise, turmeric (fresh, dried, powder), ginger (fresh, dried, powder), lemongrass (fresh, frozen, dried), chili (fresh, dried, flakes, powder), and Vietnamese coriander. Are your spices and herbs available in organic certified options?

Yes, selected spices and herbs are available with USDA Organic and EU Organic certification. Organic certified products include turmeric, ginger, black pepper, cinnamon, and star anise. Organic products are sourced from certified organic farms with full traceability from farm to shipment.
